Entertainment’s Turbine Studio has worked up an epic mobile game based on “Game of Thrones.” The game is called, “Game of Thrones: Conquest,” and is set to launch on October 19. Most of the missions in the mobile game are adapted from “A Song of Ice And Fire” novel series by George R. R. Martin. According to a report by Variety, the official trailer for the upcoming game is now out. The trailer states that interested users will be able to download the mobile app from Apple App Store and Google Play Store after its launch.
How does it work?
As noted by the fan-based website, Winter Is Coming, – gamers will be allowed to act as heads of different houses of Westeros.
All the houses will be battling it out to get the Iron Throne. The players will have to build their houses from scratch. Their sole mission is to navigate the political landscapes of Westeros and subsequently to claim ownership of the land. Players are provided with the option of pre-registering themselves on the official website of “Game of Thrones: Conquest.”
Those who pre-register with the platform will receive additional perks. They will also be eligible for the special “Prepare for War Bundle” treat. This comes included with resources – gold and money. Players can use this to purchase army and weaponry. A special “Night’s Watch” chest piece is also being provided to the users. This will be bundled up with “Sword in the Darkness,” as well.
More regarding the last season of the show
Players are required to install the game onto their smartphones once it is made available for use. They will be followed up with instructions about how one can go about with the game. Familiar faces like Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow (Kit Harington), and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) can also be used throughout the journey.
Their skills must be put to optimum use in different times of the game.
The players will also be provided with the option of customizing their houses as per their preferences. They can create their own individualistic identity with their choice of house. Different players from all over the globe can get into a multi-player competition as well.
This might probably help the fans wait until the eighth and the final season for “Game of Thrones” is officially launched. Rumors claim that the show won’t return until 2019 at least. According to Metro, the shooting for the last season is already begun.
