Two of CW’s superhero-themed shows may be in for some changes soon if the pilot episode of "DC's Legends of tomorrow" is any indication. Picking up from the mess that the team left off in season 2, the apparitions saw most of the team members leading different lives. The one that many may have overlooked was between Citizen Steel/ Nathan Heywood (Nick Zanos) and Kid Flash/ Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale).

Haywood was still fighting crime and one scene saw him working alongside the young speedster from "The Flash." That could be nothing more than a temporary instance or then again maybe not.

Could Kid Flash be of use to the Legends at some point moving forward?

It is time for Kid Flash to discover his purpose

As far as "The Flash" is concerned, there is obviously only one room for one speedster. And those who have closely followed that TV series know for a fact that the honor belongs to Barry Allen (Grant Gustin).

In season 3 of "The Flash," Wally got his own metahuman powers but needed to learn how to use them properly. A lot has changed in season 4 with Wally filling in for Barry before Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) found a way to bring back the Scarlett Speedster.

Now faster and powerful, Wally has been relegated to the background. He still helps out but discovering the severity of his powers is sorely underutilized.

According to a recent interview made by EW with Gustin, Wally will reportedly be going on his own journey and figuring out his purpose. He could follow Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) and explore other earths, a perfect stage for him to possibly make the jump to sister show "Legends of Tomorrow."

Wally will be a good replacement for exiting stars

According to Screen Rant, Victor Garber (Dr.

Martin Stein) will be leaving the show. Hence, it could signal the imminent exit of Firestorm. Seeing how the superhero evolves using two people, the other half of Firestorm, Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh) could be on his way out as well. As of this writing, there is no official word on how the producers plan to hand Jax's situation.

Firestorm barely made an impact, appearing only in select moments in the TV series. But if he does exit, the vacancy could be the perfect opportunity for Kid Flash to join the team. He has the speed and could discover his true purpose with a new bunch of people and changing environments.

Right now, all this should be taken with a grain of salt. Kid Flash could make another appearance on "Legends of Tomorrow," particularly during the crossover episodes. In the event he does re-appear in some of the independent episodes, expect the anticipation of his jump to growing louder.
