Farrah Abraham took to Instagram on October 30 to reveal that she has been fired by Viacom, the company behind the "Teen Mom" franchise, which includes "16 & Pregnant," "Teen Mom OG," and "Teen Mom 2." However, as fans saw in the just-released trailer for "Teen Mom OG" Season 7, she and her family weren't left off of the show.

"Even though Viacom fired me today, they couldn’t help but to exploit myself [and] my daughter [Sophia] for their promotional gain," Farrah Abraham began in her statement to her fans and followers. According to the longtime reality star, the company fired her from her role on "Teen Mom OG" due to her involvement with the adult industry, which includes adult promotions and other activities.

Farrah Abraham's adult lifestyle was too much for Viacom to handle

As fans of Farrah Abraham will recall, she's been making appearances at adult-themed expos and gentleman's clubs in the years since releasing her adult tape with adult actor James Deen, "Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom," and some of those appearances have been filmed for the show. That said, Viacom has seemingly had a change of heart when it comes to embracing Abraham and her unconventional choices and reportedly let her go after feeling that her brands have outshone their own interests. Reflecting on Viacom's decision, Abraham said that it was sad to think that "Teen Mom OG" will no longer feature its biggest star due to the company's reported "sex shaming." She also said that she's proud of herself for refusing to allow the "hurtful, disgusting executives" of Viacom to take away the financial opportunities she's been given.

Is Farrah Abraham threatening to write a book about Viacom?

At the end of her statement to her fans and followers on Instagram, Abraham said that she was looking forward to sharing her experiences with Viacom in detail in her first business-themed book. As she explained, she'll discuss everything from "scheming producers [and] executives" to "jealous celebrities" in the upcoming publication.

As for her co-stars, Abraham will likely address her ongoing feuds with the other women of the show.
