The 11 remaining pairs on “Dancing With The Starsreturned to perform routines inspired by the most memorable moments in their lives, ABC News reported. Dubbed as “Most Memorable Year Night,” Monday’s episode of the reality dance competition featured Terrell Owens dedicating his performance to his late grandmother.

The NFL star performed the Viennese waltz along with Cheryl Burke as he remembered memories from his late grandmother who raised him up when was younger. They picked a whitney houston hit titled “I Have Nothing.”

The Viennese waltz featured Owens wearing a contemporary suit and tie.

His partner also matched the outfit by wearing a sparkling black dress and a pair of heels. Their performance had the classic footwork routine of the dance, along with wide arm movements.

Owens' grandmother

It was dedicated to his late grandmother who was diagnosed with dementia during his rookie year in American football. The NFL player said, “She was like my grandmother, my mom, and my dad.”

He cried while sharing the story of his grandmother, but Burke gave him words of encouragement and told him that his grandmother should be proud of him. The introduction video also showed his daughter, saying he wished that his grandma was alive to see her little girl grow up.

Owens and Burke earned 24 points from the judges.

Though it was not the highest score of the night, Bruno Tonioli praised their act saying that it was Terrell’s “most accomplished performance to date.”

Highest score

Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold received the highest score with 29 points. They danced a contemporary routine to Us the Duo’s “Take Me Home.”

Meanwhile, Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd also danced a contemporary act to “Falling Slowly” by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova.

He recalled his broken family and told about growing up with divorced parents. But this did not let him down and learned from this lesson to raise his own family.

The performance started with Murgatroyd dressed up as a bride and walking toward Lachey. It was a very romantic rendition of the dance with both of them moving across the stage barefoot.

The dance featured several movements from lyrical ballet. It ended with Nick on his knees and kissing Peta’s hand. Despite this, the act earned one of the lowest scores from the judges.

“Pretty Little Liars” actress Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko danced the foxtrot to The Fray’s “Over My Head.” She shared a point in her life when she experienced health issues such as gaining too much weight. The highlight of their performance was her stunning dress with colors of white, black and purple.
