The latest updates and spoilers for "Deadpool 2" will feature Josh Brolin's Cable picking a fight with the Mutant Response Division on the film's behind-the-scenes photos. Former director Tim Miller talks about his departure from the project and how will he handle the production of the sixth installment of the "Terminator" franchise.

Cable goes shopping

The YRVShoots Twitter page posted two new behind-the-scenes photos of "Deadpool 2" featuring Cable and an MRD squad near an Army & Navy store in Vancouver. The first picture sees the time-traveling mutant soldier pushing a grocery cart loaded with various military weapons and ammunition.

The second photo featured an MRD squad car parked outside of the Army & Navy store as they are called into action. Fans speculated that the MRD saw Cable strolling outside the store with the weapons and are about to intercept him. The MRD is a government-sanctioned task force that is dedicated to hunt down and eliminate mutant threats around the globe. The group was first seen in the "Wolverine and the X-Men" animated TV series.

The MRD will likely be the primary antagonists of Deadpool and Cable in the movie and their presence could be connected to the sequel's main plot.

Tim Miller after 'Deadpool'

"Scott Pilgrim vs.

The World" director Tim Miller talked about his departure in "Deadpool 2" and how he will tackle and helm "Terminator 6." He told The Hollywood Reporter that he had so many plans for the project, but he was not able to do so due to creative differences between him and the film's star and producer Ryan Reynolds, including a disagreement over who should play Cable in the sequel.

" I felt like there was more stories (for Deadpool) to tell there, but I'm happy that somebody else is telling them," Miller said. "There was a sense of relief in that I get to do something new versus Deadpool 2."

Miller admitted that he wanted to do a "Terminator" movie after making the sequel and it seems that he has the chance to do so when he directs the sixth installment of the sci-fi franchise.

"Terminator 6's" plot will take place after "Judgment Day" and that the three films after that are considered non-canon or alternate timelines.

Deadpool and Cable will return in the live-action "X-Force" spin-off as Fox announced that Drew Goddard will helm the movie and these two X-Men characters will lead the team.

In the comics, Nathan Summers founded the group after he took over the New Mutants, while Wade Wilson joined Wolverine's version of the team. "Deadpool 2" will premiere on June 1, 2018.
