Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson just had a mini reunion after causing a huge scandal in the "Bachelor" nation. It can be recalled that the two were accused of alleged on-set misconduct that led to the temporary shutdown of the "Bachelor in Paradise" production in Mexico.
'Bachelor in Paradise' scandal: What went wrong?
Earlier reports claimed that Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson reportedly made out in the swimming pool after an all-day of drinking with their fellow cast members. The intimate encounter has caused a producer to file a complaint on allegations of misconduct that prompted the production team to stop the filming.
The whole cast and crew were sent home while the case was being investigated. A week after the scandal came out, Corinne Olympios broke her silence and claimed she was the victim of the whole issue and then revealed her plan to file a lawsuit.
DeMario Jackson, on the other hand, was emotional when he spoke with E! News to claim that the media assassinated his character. He also revealed that he has sought the help of a legal counsel to help him clear his name from "false" and "malicious" allegations.
In a separate interview, "The Bachelorette" outcast said the scandal has cost him his job. He even challenged ABC to release the controversial footage which he said would prove his innocence. "The only thing I want is for the truth to come out.
I feel like the truth will be able to come out in those videos," he said.
After the ABC show was cleared of misconduct allegations, the controversial pair confirmed they were backing out from the program. The male outcast said he felt like he "got played in general" before he revealed the details of his interaction with his fellow.
DeMario and Corinne remain friends after scandal
The scandal was immediately dealt with when "Bachelor in Paradise" returned with a whole-new season last August 14. On Wednesday, Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson had an exciting public reunion where they both proved their good relationship.
According to E! News, the controversial pair had dinner at The Belmont before they partied at Nightingale club in West Hollywood.
Before they parted ways, the "Bachelor in Paradise" outcasts embraced before Corinne Olympios gave DeMario Jackson a smooch on his cheek. "We're friends! We never had bad blood," she told the reporters.
Their reunion came after the female outcast clarified that she never pointed her fingers at DeMario Jackson on the scandal. "I really just want people to know that I don't blame DeMario," she explained.
