Earlier this week, Michelle Obama appeared in Boston and made interesting comments about American women who voted for Donald Trump. In response, right-wing firebrand Tomi Lahren wasted no time firing back [VIDEO].

Tomi on Michelle

The 2016 presidential election will go down as one of the most polarizing and controversial [VIDEO] in recent history. With the rise of Donald Trump in the political world, the game of politics changed for good. Despite his questionable campaign style and offensive rhetoric, the former host of "The Apprentice" was able to power his way through the Republican primary and later the general election with a shocking upset win over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

One reason why Trump's victory was such a surprise was where he appeared to stand with women in the polling, especially after the release of the now infamous Access Hollywood tape, which resulted in a dozen women accusing him of sexual assault during the last month of the election. Fast forward to present day and many are still stunned by the results, which prompted Michelle Obama to speak at the Inbound conference in Boston earlier this week, where she stated, "Any woman who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their own voice." In response, Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren ripped into the former first lady during the September 28 edition of "Final Thoughts."

During the Thursday edition of "Final Thoughts," Tomi Lahren went after Michelle Obama for speaking out against women in America who voted for Donald Trump, blasting her for spewing "verbal diarrhea." "Another day, another condescending leftist telling you how to think, feel and act," Lahren said, before adding,"This time it's Michelle Obama reminding the ladies that she knows what's best for us."

After highlighting Michelle Obama's aforementioned quote, Tomi Lahren went on the attack.

"Really Michelle?" Lahren wondered, while adding, "Or did we choose secure borders, personal responsibility, a strong military, tax reform, smaller government, Obamacare repeal, and economic growth?" Lahren then criticized Hillary Clinton, calling the former Secretary of State a "email-deleting, influence-selling, accountability-lacking pantsuit of lies."

Tomi's double down

"How dare you diminish and degrade my vote!" Tomi Lahren said with anger, before continuing to attack Michelle Obama for her remarks about Donald Trump. "How dare you look down on Trump-supporting women!" she added.

As Tomi Lahren and others on the far right continue to stick with Donald Trump, the most recent round of polling appears to line up more with Michelle Obama's line of thinking. In one of the latest polls released, Trump's favorability with the American people has dropped to just 35 percent, putting Lahren and her opinions in the minority.
