The latest updates and spoilers for "Thor: Ragnarok" feature a theory that Odin Allfather knows the exact location of the Soul Stone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Director Taika Waititi and Chris Hemsworth discuss the story and experiences they had on set in a new behind-the-scenes trailer.

The Allfather has an Infinity Stone

A new theory surrounding the location of the Soul Stone has been revealed online as Screenrant writer Andrew Dyce theorized that Thor's father, Odin has been hiding the stone under his eye patch.

Odin lost his right eye during Asgard's war against the Frost Giants of Jotunheim before the events of the first "Thor" film.

Dyce also revealed that "Ragnarok's" main villain, Hela, used to possess the Soul Stone and it gave her control over life and death. She can use its power to kill everyone and reanimates them as part of her personal army. This would explain the bright yellow-orange energy she releases whenever she changes to her original form.

The Allfather defeated Hela during their encounter and took the stone from her. He uses it to replenish his strength during the Odinsleep as the stone is powered by the souls of the living organisms in the universe.

Dyce's theory also validates Heimdall's role in the MCU as the Soul Stone's power can be passed down to everyone. In this case, his ability to see all of the nine realms and ten trillion souls in the universe.

This could also explain why Hela had banished Odin from Asgard to New York so she can destroy it and remake the kingdom in her twisted image.

Behind-the-scenes of 'Ragnarok'

Director Taika Waititi and Chris Hemsworth talked about their experiences on the set of "Thor: Ragnarok" in a new behind-the-scenes trailer. Waititi wanted to blend some comedy into the third film as a way to balance the serious tone of the story.

"I wanted to take people on a ride and inject some comedy into it, and adventure that keeps people laughing along the way," Waititi said. "But also has the spectacle and the stuff that it gets people excited."

Hemsworth praised the cast and crew who have worked hard on making the movie. Fellow cast member Mark Ruffalo also revealed a little something about Thor's motive in the sequel as he stated that the God of Thunder has not accepted the throne of Asgard and wants to experience more adventures in his life.

Ruffalo's character the Hulk will be treated as a celebrity during his stay in planet Sakaar. He will join Thor, Valkyrie, and Loki as they attempt to save Asgard. The sequel will premiere on Nov. 3.
