The latest updates and spoilers for "Thor: Ragnarok" will feature Mark Ruffalo talking about Hulk's celebrity status on the planet of Sakaar and how it affected his character's motive in the story. "Bourne" film franchise star Matt Damon is rumored to have a cameo appearance in the sequel as well.

Hulk enjoys his time in Sakaar

Cast member Mark Ruffalo revealed new details about his character, the Incredible Hulk in "Thor: Ragnarok" as he told Total Film (via ScreenGeek) that Bruce Banner's monstrous alter-ego is treated like a celebrity during his stay on planet Sakaar.

"Hulk has loved his time in Sakaar, why wouldn't he?" Ruffalo said "He is adored and admired. He has a hot tub in his apartment."

Hulk will fight Thor in the Grandmaster's gladiator arena wearing an outfit similar to the "Planet Hulk" storyline from Marvel comics. The latter will assist Thor in saving his homeworld, Asgard from the clutches of Hela, the goddess of Death. They are joined by the legendary Asgardian warrior, Valkyrie and Thor's adopted brother, Loki.

Banner will fight both the Firelord Surtur and the Fenris Wolf during their assault on Asgard. Ruffalo stated in an interview last year that audiences will see a smarter and much different Hulk in the sequel, and these changes could add more character depth for the gamma-powered hero in future MCU films after phase 3.

A huge Hollywood cameo

It seems that a huge Hollywood star will make a cameo during the plot of "Thor: Ragnarok." According to Weekly Planet, an unnamed source claimed that Matt Damon will appear in the sequel as an Asgardian actor playing the role of Loki in a theatre production.

While Marvel Studios has not yet confirmed if "The Martian" star will cameo in the sequel, some fans think that the source's explanation of the scene was plausible and believable.

Of course, moviegoers and comic book fans will just have to see if the cameo is real when they watch "Ragnarok" on the big screen.

The sequel will feature the God of Thunder trying to save his home from Hela as she wants to star the Ragnarok cycle and remake Asgard in her image. Doctor Strange will also appear in the movie as Thor seeks his help in finding his father, Odin in New York after Loki and Hela banished him.

The events of the movie will also set-up the plot for "Avengers: Infinity War" as Thor will meet the Guardians of the Galaxy and they are headed to earth to unite with the Avengers to stop Thanos from collecting the Infinity Stones.
