The latest update and spoilers for "Avengers: Infinity War" will feature Hela's possible presence in the film and Clint Barton getting a new code name in "Avengers 4."
Hela joins Thanos
"Thor Ragnarok" executive producer Brad Winderbaum shared his thoughts about Hela possibly joining Thanos in "Avengers: Infinity War."
"Obviously, we always think about our movies as standalones, even if they do set up a movie down the road or pay off something from a previous film," Winderbaum told ComicBook. "What we hope, if we do our jobs right, is that Hela is one of the best villains we had - maybe the best, hopefully."
There have been numerous fan speculations and rumored reports that Hela is the living embodiment of "Death" in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the comics, Thanos is in love with Mistress Death and wants to prove his affection towards her by destroying the universe using the Infinity Stones. It is unknown yet if Marvel Studios will consider the idea of pairing Thanos and Hela in the sequel.
The Asgardian goddess of death will serve as the main antagonist in the "Ragnarok" film as Thor and his team must stop her from destroying Asgard. Thor will likely meet the Guardians of the Galaxy in the sequel's post-credits scene and it will set up the events for "Infinity War."
Hawkeye's new name in 'Avengers 4'?
It seems that Clint Barton will drop his "Hawkeye" code name for a new one in the fourth "Avengers" movie. According to MCU Exchange, fans have theorized that Clint's new code name could be Ronin after actor Jeremy Renner teased a new look for his character and his scenes are being filmed in Japan.
Clint became Ronin during Marvel's "Dark Reign" story arc after Bullseye stole his "Hawkeye" persona as part of Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers team. He sports an all-black ninja uniform, and he is equipped with twin katanas, shurikens, nunchucks and explosive smoke bombs.
Renner told Collider that he wanted to explore news things about his character in future MCU films and "Avengers 4" might reveal something about Clint that has not been seen before from the past films.
Hawkeye was part of Captain America's team during the "Civil War" movie was captured by Team Iron Man along with Falcon, Scarlet Witch, and Ant-Man.
Thanos and his army will invade Earth for the Time and Mind Stones. They will hunt down Vision and Doctor Strange as Black Order member Ebony Maw will confront the Sorcerer Supreme, while the android hero will likely meet his demise in the film.
The sequel will premiere on May 24, 2018.
