In the middle of so many conflict-ridden relationships in between "The Originals" characters, many viewers have always been on the lookout to see how Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Marcel's (Charles Michael Davis) relationship will end as the mega-popular series comes closer to its final season.
While there's a bunch of exciting events to literally look forward to in the upcoming installment following the last season's finale episode, Klaus's name has been quite getting the highlight in the latest predictions. It was first hinted that Klaus will have a difficult time in Season 5 after he was forced to be away from his family in exchange of saving his daughter Hope (Daniel Rose Russell) from being possessed by The Hollow's dark magic.
Season 5 is going to be a bad start for Klaus
From the looks of the recent spoilers, it seems like the final season of "The Originals" is going to be a bad start for Klaus who will also reportedly become Marcel's greatest enemy, as per Christian Post. After what the Mikaelsons did to Marcel's witch girlfriend Davina (Danielle Campbell) , reports say that he will not simply sit idly in "The Originals" season 5 as he aims for vengeance against Klaus and his family.
Furthermore, the predictions suggest that Marcel's menacing plan to destroy Klaus might involve Elijah (Daniel Gillies). The huge sacrifice that the Mikaelson siblings have to endure to keep Hope safe from The Hollow is not going to be an easy journey for the family, and things will only get worse with Marcel in the picture.
Here's what the latest trailer has to say
As shown from the latest trailer released, Marcel will convince Elijah to come home to New Orleans and be with his older brother. Despite knowing how heavy the consequences are if he reunites the two brothers, nothing can really stop Marcel from using any means to defeat Niklaus.
Judging from the looks of "The Originals" season 4 finale, Klaus and the rest of the original members will struggle from not seeing each other for eternity and Marcel will use this chance to succeed his plans in taking the whole family down in the latter.
The fact that Marcel and Klaus had once considered each other as a family, many are still hoping for the two to patch things up before the final season will bid farewell. However, as much as everyone wants to witness a happy ever after for all their well-admired characters, everything will be under wraps until "The Originals" season 5 returns to the small screens sometime in 2018.
