Taylor Swift has already released two tracks from her upcoming album slated to release this November. One of her songs, “Look What You Made Me Do,” has already gotten a flashy music video featuring many Swifts representing different points in her career. In one iconic scene, the pop star was towering over a group of her former selves dubbed as the “Taylor Mountain.” She’s released a short clip on just how they managed to pull off such an impressive feat.
Creating the Taylor Mountain
Taylor Swift recently released a new behind-the-scenes video featuring the Taylor Mountain from her “Look What You Made Me Do” music video.
This was the part in the video where Taylor is seen standing in front of a large T while her past selves are trying to climb onto the top. In the 7-minute clip, the 27-year-old pop star admits that walking onto the set and seeing the various body doubles dressed up as herself was the “trippiest” thing she had ever seen in her life.
“Oh, that’s the phase I went through when I was 16 but a girl is wearing it who looks just like me,” she says at one point. Despite the strange meeting, Swift seemed to enjoy her time with the other girls. She even plotted a fight scene between her Ring Master Swift and Circus Girl Swift that didn’t seem to make it into the final cut. The video also shows us how they recreated the “falling” scene where the singer was wearing a recreated Junior Jewels T-shirt.
Since it released on YouTube, Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” has earned over 416 million views and counting.
Secret getaway
Work aside, Swift still seems to be happy in her current relationship with Joe Alwyn. Unlike her past relationships, Swift seems to be relatively low-key about her romance with the 26-year-old actor.
According to The Sun, the singer recently made another secret visit to the UK to see her boyfriend. The two reportedly stayed in actress Cara Delevingne’s home in Chiswick after spending time with Alwyn’s family.
Staying in lucrative hotels is obviously out of the question if Swift wants some alone time with her boyfriend. That said, she and the actor have been able to go out in public without fans stopping by for selfies.
Their relationship seems to be getting serious as she wants to spend as much time with Alwyn as possible. Despite this, it’s only a matter of time before the two finally go public before the pop star’s album debut later this year. For now, however, it seems like Swift is enjoying her personal life before stepping back into the limelight.
