Every girl wishes to be her best friends bridesmaid. Abigail Anderson wedding was happening on September 2 in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Guess who was the bridesmaid, her longtime best friend, the pop singer, Taylor Swift. They have been friends since high school, and Swift even mentions Anderson in her 2009 hit “Fifteen."

The 27-year-old singer who released the video of "Look What You Made Me Do" days ago rocked a long-flowing halterneck maroon gown, kept her hair simple with loose curls and put on her signature red lipstick. Abigail got married to photographer Matt Lucier.

Taylor looked stunning in her long gown which took her slender shape before cascading in an A-line.

Abigail Anderson’s bridal shower happened in Mexico

In August, Taylor’s best friend posted her bridal shower photos taken in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Swift might have attended but opted not to take pictures. While Edgartown, as the Mass was going on Taylor was at Abigail’s side and they looked lovely together. The world and the Swifties were aware that the “LWYMMD” singer would be a high-profile guest at Anderson's wedding and therefore Taylor did everything possible to prevent the highly anticipated ceremony from being a media circus.

Swift is a loyal friend

Every lady would want a friend like Taylor Swift, she has been loyal to her friends and comes whenever they need her.

She acted as the Maid of Honor for her friend Britany Maack in February 2016, and she wore a stunning Reem Acra gown. Her new album might be doing well, but she still finds time to spend with her friends. She also seems to love weddings. Last year in June, she showed up at a wedding in New Jersey and even claimed the wedding singer status by grabbing the mic and performing “Jealous,” another of her hit songs.

But the internet still threw shades at the pop singer claiming her gesture was not sweet. Social media can always have its own opinion though, and it's allowed. But the wedding DJ proved critics after explaining how it happened.

The groom’s sister had explained to Swift of how the groom was a loyal Swifty. The grooms and her dying mother even danced together to ‘Blank Space” in her hospital room, and Taylor decided to surprise the bride and groom with a live performance.

Some people took it as a publicity move.

Taylor donated to Hurricane Harvey victims

Ms. Swift appearing at her friend's wedding, despite her hectic career schedule came after she answered the donation call by contributing to the victims of Hurricane Harvey. According to Daily Mail, the singer donated in honor of her mother Andrea, a former student from the University of Houston. Taylor Swift proved to the world that people matter too.
