Colin Trevorrow’s exit in the “Star Wars” franchise drew a lot of reactions from fans. The director’s firing caused a lot of problems to the series as they need to have a solid footing soon. Without the head of the production, they won’t be able to start anything.

To help us understand what happened during the incident, “Star Wars” actor Domhall Gleeson, recently shared his thoughts on the issue. The star who plays General Armitage Hux was very neutral about his views, especially in the sudden change in production.

Not for him to talk about

Gleeson’s thoughts on the matter are neutral-- too neutral in fact, that he didn’t actually speak about his views on the matter.

According to the interview, the actor thinks it’s not his place to say something about the incident. After all, he still doesn't know if he’s going to be involved in the third “Star Wars" film. For the Irish actor, a person who’s not directly involved shouldn’t really say anything on the matter.

Although he didn’t share anything particular about Trevorrow’s firing, he did say that it’s just part of the job. According to the actor, if parting with the company is the right thing to do then it should be done.

On JJ Abrams Return

Now that Trevorrow is out of the project, Lucasfilm looked no further than to hire director JJ Abrams back for the third film. Abrams is famous for his work in “Star Trek” but his recent contribution to “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is what made Lucasfilm and Disney hire him back for the series.

Like Lucasfilm executive Kathleen Kennedy, Gleeson is also happy about Abrams’ return. The Irish actor commended the director’s work in the “Force Awakens,” and said that he could see why the film company hired him back. He also thinks that fans are excited for Abrams’ return in the series. If he could do another smashing job like the first movie, he could certainly deliver another one.

After all, “Episode IX” is the end sequel “Star Wars” Trilogy, it should go out with a bang.

Star Wars Episode Ix” is the last movie in the under the new “Star Wars” trilogy. Not much is known about the film as yet as the production changed its director to JJ Abrams. The story is set to happen after the events of “The Last Jedi” which will be released this year on December 15.

Chris Terrio and Abrams will pen the upcoming film under the production of Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. “Episode IX” is scheduled to be released on December 20, 2019.
