Meghan felt that Kelly would be a great asset to the cast and King Edmonds felt that she couldn't go wrong, as they were friends. But King Edmonds quickly realized that perhaps she didn't know Dodd as well as she thought. As Kelly's first season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" was coming to an end, Meghan was questioning her friendship with Kelly. She even revealed to the Bravo producers that she regretted bringing Dodd in. While fans love the drama she brings, Meghan has been personally affected by Kelly's aggressive behavior.
The two got into a heated argument while the show wasn't airing and it sounds like Dodd continues to feel betrayed by Meghan.
According to a new report on Bravo, Kelly Dodd is now lashing out at Meghan, revealing that King Edmonds is causing plenty of problems for her. While they settled the rumor that Dodd had a boyfriend on the side, Meghan angered Dodd when she reached out to Shannon about recording her conversation with Kelly. Even though King Edmonds apologized, Kelly was clearly upset about it. When they came face-to-face, Kelly lost it, calling Meghan a bad mother for going out with her friends rather than staying at home with her daughter.
Who is the victim?
No one really knows who the true victim is in this case, as the ladies keep arguing.
Meghan started it when she texted Dodd about the rumor that Kelly had a boyfriend on the side. Kelly lashed out, saying that Jimmy was cheating on King Edmonds. While they settled this drama, Meghan started it again by going behind Kelly's back to talk to Shannon Beador about recording her conversation with Kelly. That's when Dodd lost it.
In her blog, Kelly reveals that text messages will prove that she's the true victim.
"Instead, Meghan tries to paint me in the worst light possible and portrays herself as the victim. It’s a damn good thing that I kept those texts messages to show the women the truth. Rather than acknowledge Meghan’s deceit, Shannon calls “tit for tat”, which is a false equivalency," Kelly explains in her blog about what really went down between her and Meghan.
It will be interesting to see what happens when the reunion special comes around.
No longer friends
It's clear that these two are no longer friends. When the fight played out on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" this past Monday, Meghan reveals that she had wasted precious time on Kelly Dodd rather than be with her daughter. It sounds like there's no peace between these two.
