Kailyn Lowry is currently at home with her newborn son, baby Lo. She's filming the upcoming season of "Teen Mom 2," and one can imagine that she has a big paycheck coming from MTV because of her work with the network. These girls are rumored to be making upwards of $300,000 per season. Since they are currently entering their 9th season of the show, it is possible that Lowry has close to $1 million in her bank account. Even though she has bought a house and gone to school, she has explored other paying opportunities, such as other reality shows and even sponsored social media posts.
While Kailyn Lowry knows that "Teen Mom 2" won't be around forever, she knows that she needs to milk it before it comes to an end. MTV has already promised success for their kids in the form of a college fund for each child, so Lowry doesn't have to worry about much. But she continues to promote products and her fans are getting tired of it. According to a new Instagram post, Kailyn Lowry is now being accused of promoting products in the form of sponsored posts - products that may not work as well as she's being told.
Thinning tea
Even though some of these sponsored posts are written by themselves, these companies will often craft the text for these stars to make it sound authentic. This was proven when one celebrity accidentally posted everything in a message from the company.
However, Lowry's fans are smart and one person revealed that it was horrible how young girls actually believes that thinning tea works.
"I just feel bad for the people who actually believe this stuff works and trust these women that are promoting it," one follower wrote on Kailyn Lowry's post about the tea, hinting that perhaps it is time for these social media personalities to find something else to promote.
Almost all of the "Teen Mom" cast members have promoted this thinning tea one or more times and fans are getting tired of these posts. Some have even threatened to unfollow Lowry and her co-stars on social media because the girls are all about making money and not about nurturing the fan base that made them famous.
The hatred towards sponsored posts
There is a hatred towards sponsored posts, because they are showing up everywhere. Many celebrities love the sponsored posts because it is easy money, but fans are growing tired of seeing the same content on every Instagram page. Many fans have said they would unfollow due to the growing advertisements.
What do you think about Kailyn Lowry posting these advertisements for the sake of money?
