Jennifer Lawrence has landed herself in the headlines again as she made a rude gesture at a screening. The actor was doing some promotional press for her movie "Mother!" and flipped the Middle Finger at the audience. Lawrence's gesture has been considered highly controversial and her fans are less than impressed.

Not her first time

According to the Daily Mail, this is not the first time that actor Jennifer Lawrence has decided to give her audience the middle finger. While some fans initially found the actors free spirit hilarious they are now beginning to become annoyed with Lawrence's antics.

Lawrence has been pulling out the middle finger during interviews, during press for movies and when encountering members of the paparazzi. In a report by E! News, the screening of "Mother" took place at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. As if this was not bad enough the Oscar Academy was behind the arranged screening and as such Lawrence should have been on her best behavior as she was representing the company.

The incident occurred when Lawrence was answering a question on how she managed to injure herself on the set of her latest movie "Mother." The actor spoke about the scary atmosphere on set and how she ended up hyperventilating, which led to her injury. Director Darren Aronofsky was present and teased Lawrence about it and she responded by giving him and the audience the middle finger.

Actress revealed she cannot censor herself

According to E! News, Jennifer Lawrence has been questioned on her behavior in the past to which the actor has replied that she simply cannot censor herself. Lawrence is well known for speaking her mind however, fans are of the mind that there comes a point where she should present herself professionally.

In an interview with Catt Sandler, Lawrence explained that she knows how much trouble her personality could get her into one day. The actor stated that she would censor herself more if it were in her capabilities and sometimes wishes that she did not do or say stupid things.

In a report by the Daily Mail, Lawrence's explanation has been considered as weak.

The star has been called out on being rude simply to get the media's attention. She has also been called out for her tendency of falling over at important events, as members of the public are confident it is all a publicity stunt.
