Amal and george clooney welcomed their twins, Ella and Alexander, in June and the two are adapting well to parenthood. In fact, the "Money Monster" actor bragged about being good at diaper changing in his ET Online interview on Friday.
The Clooneys and their road to parenthood
According to the publication, the 56-year-old actor was in Italy to promote his upcoming movie, "Suburbicon," at the Venice Film Festival. While he still considers himself a "mess" when it comes to taking care of the twins, George has nothing but praise to Amal for her parenting skills.
"[Amal] is like an Olympic athlete. You've got two kids, you're breastfeeding like crazy," he said. "I'm very good, by the way, at diaper changing."
George felt like he has aged a lot since the twins were born but also revealed that there were no fundamental changes that come with fatherhood. He, however, is honored to watch Ella and Alexander grow up. "I'm excited to see who these two people are going to be in life," the actor added.
How romance started for George and Amal
Amal and George's love story began when they were first introduced at a charity dinner in September 2012. According to a Daily Mail source, Amal initially turned down George's offer when he asked her out for dinner after their first meeting.
"Clooney asked her out for dinner and she put him off twice, saying she was too busy, before accepting the third time," it revealed. "She was operating on the lines of “treat ‘em mean, keep ‘em keen” and clearly it worked."
Both parties initially denied dating rumors when they were spotted in public a month later. The couple eventually confirmed their relationship when they packed on the PDA during the screening of "The Monuments Men" at the White House in February 2013.
Since then, the A-list couple has been making no effort to hide their romance from the public. In fact, the actor popped the question just two months after they confirmed they were dating. He reportedly gave the human rights lawyer a seven-karat emerald cut engagement ring with an estimated cost of 750,000 dollars.
George and Amal held their wedding at a seven-star hotel in Italy, which was attended by some of the most popular Hollywood personalities.
The Clooneys confirmed they were expecting twins last February after months of speculation. Shortly after the pregnancy announcement, Amal stepped out for the first time at the Cesar Awards to show her baby bump.
