Fresh off the success of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," wrestler turned actor Dave Bautista is gearing up for a couple more hit films in his hands with the new "Bushwick" and the upcoming "Blade Runner 2049." "Bushwick" is an action thriller from Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion, with a script by Nick Damici and Graham Reznick. It features Bautista with Brittany Snow in a combat movie against Texas militia.

Bautista is also appearing in "Blade Runner 2049," where he plays Sapper Morton. The film is coming out next month. Next year, the actor can be seen in the highly anticipated "Avengers: Infinity War," where his Drax the Destroyer, along with the other Guardians of the Galaxy teammates, is teaming up with the Avengers.

Bautista recently opened up about working with "Iron-Man" himself, Robert Downey, Jr., who he admitted to having collaborated with riff-wise in terms of the script. But one thing that fans can look forward to is Downey Jr.'s on-screen collaboration with Star-Lord himself, Chris Pratt.

Dave Bautista hints at 'spontaneous combustion' between two actors

Dave Bautista recently opened up to Yahoo! Movies about his experience working on "Avengers: Infinity War," where he said that when Star-Lord and Tony Stark are placed in one room, there's a "spontaneous combustion." He explained that Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Pratt are "so witty and smart and honed-in on their craft.

It was a spectacle, and I’m so excited I got to witness it firsthand." He also promised that "there would be a lot of good interaction between Tony Stark and Drax."

Actor was happy to work with Robert Downey Jr.

"Iron-Man" star Robert Downey Jr. is definitely the father figure in the group of both the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy.

It's unsurprising that he would have fans in his co-stars, including Dave Bautista. The wrestler told Entertainment Weekly that it was "pretty surreal" to be working with Downey Jr., given that Bautista was a fan of the 52-year old Screen Actors Guild Award-winning actor. Bautista mused, "Those are were my best memories, on the set of 'Avengers,' was working with him, because I looked up to him for so many years as a performer."

"Avengers: Infinity War" brings together Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Josh Brolin, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, with the voices of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper, together with Benedict Cumberbatch, Sebastian Stan, Karen Gillan, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Scarlet Johansson, and many others in a film directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. The film opens on May 4, 2018.
