Dakota Johnson has been one of the most buzz-worthy celebrities since landing the lead role as Anastasia Steele in the “fifty shades” franchise, which also starred Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey. Together, they earned international recognition for the trilogy, which is based on the novel of the same name by British author E. L. James. Director James Foley previously said that he was impressed with the actress and described her as an intelligent artist. Johnson has also been rocking major magazine covers this year, including Vogue Spain and luxury brands like Gucci and Intimissimi.

Recently, the 27-year-old actress opened up about her other aspirations, including some that take her behind the cameras.

Dakota the filmmaker?

Vogue Spain signed Dakota Johnson as its Magazine Cover for the October issue. The cover has been shared on Instagram and the actress can be seen sporting a stunning bodysuit, high heels, and her infamous red lipstick. Johnson told the magazine that she’s a bookworm and it inspires her to turn literature into movies.

"I read a lot, and I have found many articles and books that I’d like to turn into films," she said.

"My interests are very specific, and I want to see certain women acting on screen and drawing attention to some particular issues."

Johnson has been soaring high on the big screen and this will certainly help her make films in the future. As Foley noted, she is an intelligent actress and her work in the “Fifty Shades” franchise has been impressive.

Dornan also praised his co-star for being a great actress. Additionally, her award-winning mother Melanie Griffith has been one of her biggest inspirations as she explores the world of acting. If the 27-year-old star succeeds as a filmmaker, it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise.

No judgment, please

Dakota Johnson also opened up to Vogue Spain about the negative result of being a famous celebrity and admitted that she is not happy with some aspects of fame.

She went on to say that people are fascinated with judging her, especially when she was signed onto the “Fifty Shades” franchise and described it as “incessant mosquito noise.” However, it looks like she doesn’t want to be affected by it and added that it’s just a waste of time and energy.

Johnson posed for Vogue Spain a week after the trailer for “Fifty Shades Freed” was released to the public. The final installment hits theaters in February 2018.
