Chelsea DeBoer gave birth to Watson Cole in late January of this year and he's been nothing but a joy to the family. She was filming "Teen Mom 2" this spring and fans got to see just how Aubree and Cole were dealing with a little newborn. Cole clearly loved being a father to this little boy, while Aubree had struggled to balance her own life and that of her brother. She really wanted to stay engaged with everything that Chelsea and Cole were doing with the baby, but she had to learn that she couldn’t do it all.
She had to go to bed early so she could be well rested for school.
Many fans argued that she was showing signs of jealousy as Chelsea wasn't giving her enough attention. Of course, fans only get to see a few minutes out of a whole week and Chelsea has revealed that her daughter gets plenty of attention. But it sounds like DeBoer’s fans love how much they get to see Watson on social media.
Showing off her son
According to a new Instagram post, Chelsea DeBoer is getting plenty of recognition for showing her son off on social media as much as she is. When celebrities have children, they tend to be very protective of the baby and they rarely show videos and photos of the baby as he or she is growing up. However, it doesn't sound like this is the case for Chelsea, as she is sharing funny photos and videos of little Watson Cole on her Instagram page.
Fans are thanking her for being so open and inviting with her life, as many people love following her on social media. Interestingly, many of the other “Teen Mom” stars are also doing the same thing with their children. Leah Messer has always shared photos and videos of her children Instagram and Kailyn Lowry has been posting photos of her son, who still doesn't have a name.
"You have such a beautiful family! Please keep filming with TM2 because you help prove that you can become well adjusted and successful even after young pregnancy struggles. Sending much love!" one person wrote to her.
Wants the truth to be known
It sounds like Chelsea is getting credit for being so open, as she usually doesn't share much with her fans.
She's very protective of her family and she likes to stay somewhat private with everything that she does. Like many of the other "Teen Mom 2" stars, Chelsea DeBoer has questioned whether it is time to leave the show behind. She has revealed that she doesn't like how they are portrayed on the show and how her story, despite being positive, is often edited to be something very dramatic. DeBoer has revealed that it concerns her that Aubree will get to see this in the future and wonder whether her childhood was indeed as negative as MTV wants to portray it. Of course, DeBoer has one of the least dramatic lives on the show.
What do you think about Chelsea DeBoer’s decision to be so open on social media? Do you think this is something she's doing for the sake of showing fans what her life is really like so MTV can’t flip the story around for the sake of ratings?
