However, it seems that Bethenny has been struggling with some personal issues lately. Over the summer, Frankel noticed a spot on her face that had surfaced due to sun exposure.
According to a new report by Bravo, Bethenny Frankel broke her silence and she revealed that she has been diagnosed with cancer. Frankel revealed that it has been an emotional journey. The news broke when she filmed a video in hopes of raising money for Hurricane Harvey relief a few weeks ago. In the videos, Bethenny was spotted with a bandage on her face and fans quickly asked her what was up. Of course, Frankel is an honest person and she decided to speak out about her health.
Spotted something on her face
Bethenny told Bravo that she had noticed a spot on her face. She had the growth removed and it was confirmed to be cancer. But she said that she was lucky to have caught it early and she is expected to recover.
She claims she is lucky that it was quickly removed and dealt with.
“I guessed it to be a basal cell carcinoma and had it lanced and removed. The doctor confirmed it is indeed basal cell carcinoma, a form of skin cancer, and says while it is cancer, I am lucky to have it removed — so it won’t affect my overall health," she shared with Bravo.
Over the summer, Frankel spent time at the beach. She was constantly in a bikini and despite often covering her face, she admitted that she has been exposed to a lot of sunny weather.
