The Skinnygirl founder and “Real Housewives” alum, bethenny frankel, tops the slate of guest stars for the forthcoming season “Shark Tank.”

Bethenny will appear on the show, alongside J-Lo beau Alex Rodriguez and others. She gained global recognition from her appearance in “Real Housewives of New York,” and founded Skinnygirl. In 2011, Bethenny reportedly sold a book for $100 million and stayed on Forbes’ list of richest reality TV stars of all time.

Both Bethenny Frankel and Alex Rodriguez are headed to “Shark Tank.” The 46-year-old television personality and 41-year-old former MLB player will serve as guest judges in the new episodes of the ABC show.

The network confirmed their cast in a press release Tuesday. Frankel says that she feels like a shark and is excited about the project. No doubt, she is a perfect pick for the show, on which leading entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to business titans.

Born in November 1970, Bethenny Frankel is best known for her appearances in “The Apprentice: martha stewart,” “Bethenny Ever After,” and “The Real Housewives of New York City.” She describes her childhood as full of problems and difficulties. In 2005, Bethenny was a contestant on a reality TV show, “The Apprentice: Martha Stewart,” and one of the two finalists. In 2010, she starred in the Bravo reality show “Bethenny Getting Married,” which documented her relationship with Jason Hoppy, and the birth of her daughter.


In 2009, Frankel made the news for publishing two books, “Naturally Thin: Unleash Your SkinnyGirl” and “The SkinnyGirl Dish: Easy Recipes for Your Naturally Thin Life.” She soon created DVDs, which summarized the stories of her books.

In December 2012, she published a novel “Skinnydipping.” Frankel founded the Skinnygirl cocktail company in April 2011 and later sold it to Fortune Brands' Beam Global for $100 million.
