The latest updates and spoilers for "Avengers: Infinity War" feature new casting calls for 1960s extras in the sequel. "Kong: Skull Island" star Brie Larson will be reprising her role as Captain Marvel in "Avengers 4."
1960s scenes
"Avengers: Infinity War" will likely feature flashback scenes as new casting calls revealed background characters set in the 1960s. Central Casting Georgia announced that they looking for female extras who can play engineers and secretaries in the film. The secretaries will be filmed on October 12 and 13, while the engineers are needed on set from October 12 to 13, and an additional day on October 16.
While principal photography for the sequel has already finished, co-director Joe Russo stated during the San Diego Comic-Con that they want to shoot additional scenes for the movie. The announcement for both roles emphasized that they are "very small" scenes and there is a chance that they may not make it into the final cut.
Nerdist reporter Jessica Chobot speculated that these scenes may connect to story of the "Infinity Stones"and the engineers and secretaries could be the original S.H.I.E.L.D. members before Nick Fury took over the organization
While Marvel Studios has yet to comment if S.H.I.EL.D. is involved with the discovery of the Infinity Stones, fans are excited and curious to know if they will make an appearance in the sequel.
"Avengers: Infinity War" will feature Thanos and his followers of The Black Order, trying to find and collect all of the Infinity Stones and reshape the universe in their own twisted image. There is speculation that Hela will join the Mad Titan's quest after the events of "Thor: Ragnarok."
Captain Marvel joins 'Avengers 4'
Atlanta Filming announced that Brie Larson will reprise her role as Carol Danvers a.k.a.
Captain Marvel in the untitled "Avengers 4" film. Just Jared tweeted images of Larson accompanied by Chris Evans as they prepared for the film's set.
Carol Danvers will make her official debut in her solo movie before joining Earth's Mightiest Heroes in the fourth installment. Carol will be battling the Skrulls during the events the of the 90s and audiences will see a younger version of Nick Fury in the movie.

Cast member Jeremy Renner teased that his character Clint Barton will drop his "Hawkeye" code name in "Avengers 4." Fans have theorized that he will go by the name of Ronin in the movie during his scenes in Japan.
"Avengers: Infinity War" will premiere on May 24, 2018.
