Kailyn Lowry claimed she was scared for her life when she and Javi Maroquin split up last year. After filing for divorce, Kailyn started dating, and it didn't take long for her to get pregnant. She justified her pregnancy by saying that her doctor wanted her to get pregnant sooner rather than later, as she couldn't have a child later in life. Lowry chose not to say anything to her ex-husband, as they weren't on good terms. But when the "Teen Mom 2" star learned that his ex-wife was pregnant, he was furious. He showed up at their shared home and Lowry was furious.
She filed a PFA (protection from abuse) order against him, which just put a strain on their relationship.
According to a new Instagram post, Kailyn Lowry is now revealing that she and her ex-husband are trying to get along for the children. On "Teen Mom 2," Lowry announced that she was lifting the order so Javi could come get the children from her. He was also happy because the PFA could possibly hurt his career in the Air Force. While they were filming the show, they were starting to get along. They were both there at Lincoln and Isaac's soccer games and they were getting along just fine.
For the children
Perhaps Kailyn is realizing that they have to work together for the sake of the kids. While Isaac is biologically Kailyn and Jo Rivera's son, he has built a relationship with Javi Marroquin over the years, as he has been in Isaac's life as long as the boy can remember.
This may be why Lowry is choosing to work on their issues rather than ignore them. This week, she shared a photo of her two sons doing sports together.
"The fact that they can do sports together melts my heart. Meanwhile, baby Lo is pooping in my lap," Kailyn Lowry revealed on Instagram.
At the same time, Javi shared a similar post about the boys, revealing he was so proud of his son for doing sports.
He shared a lengthy post about how his parents had pushed him even when he didn't want to do something and how he was appreciative of this today.
Stirring up drama?
It sounds like no one is trying to stir up drama these days. While Kailyn's focus is on her new son, one can imagine that Marroquin was there to support his own son.
Their pictures are clearly from the same event, but Javi and Kailyn didn't mention one another in the post. Perhaps they want their independence and they don't want fans to think that they are getting back together.
