Marvel’s “Inhumans” did not exactly receive positive feedback. At the same time, its “Agents of SHIELD,” managed to gain much recognition. Thanks to the series’ progress, ABC network has decided to renew it for the fifth season. The network has even published an official poster, which only further confirms the existence of the next installment. According to a report by Den of Geek, it has also been confirmed that Nick Blood will return to show. He will be seen reprising his role as Lance Hunter in “Agents of SHIELD” season 5.
The speculated release date and the characters
According to Entertainment Weekly, Nick appeared on “Agents of SHIELD,” only until its third season. Following which, his character had disappeared from the face of the series. Actor Adrienne Palicki had also signed off from the show. The two reportedly left, because they were going to star in an “Agents of SHIELD” spin-off. The spin-off obviously never took place. They are now expected to return in the superhero series’ fifth installment. It hasn’t been established as to for how long Hunter will survive in the fifth season. As for the release date, the exact time period is not known. But it is being suggested that the show will premiere right after “Inhumans” wraps up.
“Inhumans,” will premiere on Friday, September 29 and is expected to consist of eight episodes. Therefore, it is safe to assume that “Agents of SHIELD” Season 5 will officially launch in November. The speculated date is believed to be November 24, 2017.
