Adam Levine will soon be a father of two. Earlier this week, ahead of the season 13 premiere of "The Voice," Levine's wife, Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo, took to her Instagram page and shocked fans by revealing that she is pregnant with her second child less than one year after welcoming daughter Dusty Rose Levine.
According to a new report, fans of the couple didn't expect Levine and Prinsloo to have another child so soon, mainly due to his upcoming role on "The Voice" season 13 and her upcoming role in the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai, China.
However, despite their upcoming commitments, Levine and Prinsloo are wasting no time expanding their family.
How does 'The Voice' family feel about Adam Levine's baby news?
On September 13, Hollywood Life said that in addition to Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo's friends feeling that they would wait to welcome baby number two, they were reportedly suspecting that two other coaches of "The Voice" would announce their own baby news first. As an insider explained, everyone on the staff believed that Levine's close friends and co-stars, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, would be the ones to announce their baby news first. That said, the source noted that everyone is absolutely happy and thrilled to see that Levine will soon become a father again.
The insider went on to reveal that everyone on the staff of the show is expecting Shelton and Levine to joke about that when the show goes live later this year.
“Everyone expects they will joke about how many Voice winners they each have and how many babies they have,” the insider explained.
Adam Levine's baby girl was born in 2016
Levine and Prinsloo struck up a romance with one another in May 2012, just one month after the Maroon 5 singer split from former girlfriend, Anne Vyalitsyna. One year later, however, they chose to part ways briefly, and Levine dated Nina Adgal for a short time. Then, after rekindling their relationship weeks later and becoming engaged, Levine and Prinsloo tied the knot in Mexico in July 2014.
After getting married, Levine and Prinsloo spoke of their plans for a big family and on September 21, 2016, their first child, a baby girl named Dusty Rose, was born.
Adam Levine and his co-stars, including Blake Shelton, Miley Cyrus, and Jennifer Hudson, who was added to the show earlier this year, will return to NBC on Monday, September 25 at 8 p.m. for "The Voice" season 13.
