Jeremy Lindholm, 41, was arrested on Wednesday night after allegedly beating his girlfriend with a baseball bat in a domestic violence incident at a business in Spokane, Wash. Lindholm appeared as the character Mickey in one episode of the Showtime series “twin peaks” which aired on June 11.
Spokane police receive a call about an alleged assault
The Spokane police department issued a press statement to say a call had come in from a local business at around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday about an alleged Assault on the premises. Officers responded to the call to find Lindholm fleeing out a back entrance of the building with a baseball bat in hand.
Police said when confronted, Lindholm “quickly gave up,” allowing officers to take him into custody.
Surveillance video taken in the premises revealed that Lindholm was responsible for an “extremely violent assault.” On interviewing witnesses and the victim in the attack, it was found to be a case of domestic violence.

Police believe Jeremy Lindholm intended to kill his girlfriend
Viewing the surveillance footage led officers to believe that the victim of the assault was in danger and that Lindholm intended to kill his girlfriend.
The unnamed victim reportedly suffered serious injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
As reported by the New York Daily News, Lindholm admitted to police that he had punched his girlfriend in the face, but said he did not mean to hurt her. However, Lindholm told police he wanted them to shoot him in front of his girlfriend.
Lindholm did admit he had been arguing with his girlfriend shortly before she left to get him some Kool Aid. The Daily News reports that when his girlfriend failed to return, he became angry and headed to her place of work with the baseball bat.
Lindholm was booked into Spokane County Jail on $100,000 bond and is facing charges of attempted second-degree murder and assault along with other charges, including assaulting the victim’s friend.
Anne Lillian Mitchell, Lindholm’s talent agent, was shocked by the incident and told People they have worked with him on several projects. Mitchell said their interactions with Lindholm were always “consistently professional.” She went on to say their thoughts were with everyone involved in the incident.
Lindholm’s only appearance in Showtime’s ‘Twin Peaks’
Lindholm’s sole appearance in “Twin Peaks” as the character Mickey aired in a June 11 episode with actor Harry Dean Stanton. A few days prior to that episode, he posted an image to Twitter, showing himself posing in front of a TV with his scene playing in the background. In his caption, he reminded his followers that the episode would air at 8 p.m.
