The actor showed a flippant and rude attitude towards both the film and Marvel Studios. Tom Holland has responded to Dunst's comments with an intelligent and mature reply.

Dunst made some rude comments about 'Spiderman: Homecoming'

According to INC, actor Kirsten Dunst who played Mary-Jane Watson in the past "Spiderman" movies has commented on the latest revival of the franchise.

In an interview with Marie Claire, the actor was asked for her opinion of the new movies and fans were shocked at what she had to say.

Dunst stated that the "Spiderman" movies she acted in were clearly the best of the franchise. She then went on to add that Marvel Studios could continue to make as many superhero movies as they want but hers were by far the best of the lot. She stated that the studio is simply making more movies about Spiderman because they want to make more money.

The star stated that she did not care about the revival of the franchise in the slightest and her off handed comments about Marvel Studio's certainly will not earn her a guest role in the next movie. Dunst shows a clear jealousy of the "Spiderman: Homecoming" and appears bitter that she was not invited back for the franchise's return.

Holland has made a statement about the comments
