Victoria’s Secret has officially announced that 2017 Fashion Show will be held in Shanghai. The lingerie brand made the announcement on Twitter, saying that their much-awaited event is heading to this breathtaking Chinese city.

The Victoria’s Secret fashion show is the brand’s pre-holiday event, gathering top models, fashion icons, celebrities and musicians around the world. It features their underwear products accessorized with massive costumes and props.

The previous editions of the show organized by the underwear fashion label have been held in the cities of New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and London.

Last year, Paris in France played host to the spectacular fashion event, showcasing the products of the company.

Victoria’s Secret said that the show will be a taped event, but will be broadcast on CBS on November 28. It will be aired to almost 200 countries. The company also pointed out that the musical performers for the upcoming fashion show will soon be announced.

Among the musicians who have graced their stage include Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Nicki Minaj, and Katy Perry.

Bella Hadid to walk on the runway

Blasting News recently reported that American celebrity and supermodel Bella Hadid has been confirmed as one of the those selected to walk on the runway of the 2017 Victoria's Secret show.

The model announced her participation in the underwear runway show, by posting on Instagram.

She posted her photo taken outside a building, overlooking the city buildings in the background. She was wearing a black-colored bra, and she was covered in a robe.

Hadid said she felt humbled by the opportunity given to her and the fact that she is going to be part of the show once again.

She also thanked the company for making her dreams come true. Last year, she debuted as a Victoria’s Secret model and walked during the event held in Paris. She wore an elaborate attire, strutting with Bruno Mars’ song playing in the background.

Other confirmed models

After a series of casting calls and auditions, the models were officially selected for this year’s fashion event.

Among them are Nadine Leopold, Leomie Anderson, Leila Nda, Grace Elizabeth, Maggie Laine, Victoria Lee, Vanessa Moody, and Maria Borges. Also joining them are models Julia Belyakova, Aiden Curtis, Gizele Oliveira, Alexina Graham, Zuri Tibby, and Estelle Chen.

The show has featured renowned models such as Adriana Lima and Behati Prinsloo. The latter just gave birth to her daughter with her husband, Adam Levine.
