It was also revealed that the actors have been adjusting to their 20-year aging process on this new season.

During the interview, Balfe confessed that "Outlander" Season 3 is one of the unique seasons to watch out for in Starz.

The upcoming series is believed to be taking its new journey that has never been seen before. The actress also shared that during the first scenes of the episodes, Sam and Caitriona will be separated for quite a while. Perhaps, the romantic couple will spend their lives apart, and they will be totally different people.

Living each other's lives for more than a decade will be a lot of fun, and that makes Season 3 a lot different from the rest of the episodes. Apparently, the production used a different take on this season. Heughan also confirmed that it felts like they were no longer doing the same show since the upcoming season has lots of changes to be revealed.

When asked about Hueghan and Balfe's romantic relationship on the series, the actress has revealed that the upcoming season is slated to feature a kind of relationship which will endure decades of hardships and distance.

The 37-year old actress recalled how their first romance has blossomed, and the different struggles that they went through in the relationship.

However, Balfe revealed that "Outlander" Season 3 will feature a different kind of reunion of the couple. Most of the viewers have believed into the kind of love they showed for each other, and perhaps, fans will see how Sam and Caitriona will lead their way back to each other.

The actress admitted that it is hard for them to meet the expectations of their viewers. Nevertheless, they remain positive that they can deliver the kind of story that the series fan-base will surely love.

Heughan also shared that most of the series episodes will surely surprise their audience a lot.
