The star wishes to remain misunderstood
According to the Daily Mail, Robert Pattinson has recently stated that he would rather remain misunderstood as he is represented in the media.
He stated that people are always changing and that the more he is talked about in the media, the more of an image people begin to form of him. Pattinson wants to escape this stereotyping for as long as he possibly can.
The star is famously known for his privacy, and Pattinson claims that he wishes that he could remain silent and unnoticed when he takes on new roles. When he first rose to Fame with his role as Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" franchise Pattinson claimed that he was keen to dismiss the fame that came alongside the role. He stated that he wanted to focus his career on mysterious and edgy roles.

Pattinson opens up on methods to escape the paparazzi
The actor recently opened up about how difficult it is for him to go out in public as the paparazzi often swarm him.
In a recent interview with GQ, the star revealed the lengths he goes to hide from the media. He explained that he has had his friends change outfits with him in restaurant bathrooms while several Ubers are called so that the photographers will not know which Uber Pattinson has gotten into.
He also shared that he has gotten into the boots of cars and the backs of trucks to travel around unknown to the media.
One tactic he shared was that he took out five rental cars and left them in different places around the city. He left a spare change of clothes in the cars, and if he were being followed, he would switch both the car he was driving and his clothes.
It is clear that Robert Pattinson does not enjoy the attention of the media and fans were shocked to hear of the lengths that the actor goes to in order to escape the media.
