The first-ever African American star of “The Bachelorette” has teamed up with online thrift store ThredUp to sell some of the clothing she wore when she was competing for Nick Viall’s heart on the 21st season of “The Bachelor.” And the prices are actually affordable, with some items going for as low as $12.
After landing as Nick’s third runner up on “The Bachelor,” Rachel went on to star on the next cycle of “The Bachelorette” franchise and ultimately became engaged to Dr.
Bryan Abasolo. That said, Rachel is clearly ready to shed her memories of Nick by unloading some of the most memorable pieces she wore on his season of the ABC reality show, and she’s doing it for charity.
Why she’s cleaning out her closet
According to Self magazine, all of the proceeds from Rachel Lindsay’s thrift sale will go to the ACLU, an organization that she says is close to her heart. In addition, ThredUp will match the proceeds from Rachel Lindsay’s sales dollar for dollar. While “The Bachelorette” star acknowledges that the ABC franchise took a big step forward with her season of the show, she admits there is still a long way to go when it comes to educating close-minded people and that’s why this charity means so much to her.

Diehard “Bachelor” fans will instantly recognize some of the items Rachel Lindsay is selling. In fact, the 31-year-old Dallas attorney is unloading the gold-toned earrings she wore when she first met Nick during the limo night meet and greets the night she earned his first impression rose. Rachel is also selling the adorable penguin onesie she wore during her overnight date with “The Bachelor” star, as well as the wrap dress that garnered her group date rose. Fans will also instantly recognize the winter hat she wore during a cozy date with Nick in Finland.
In an interview with People, Rachel Lindsay revealed that she is most sentimental about selling a long white vest that she wore during her hometown date in Dallas.
Lindsay added that she wore the piece while spending time at her church and introducing her family to Nick.
Rachel Lindsay will also sell some personal pieces that she didn’t wear on “The Bachelor” that her social media followers will recognize, including a dress she wears on her Instagram profile and a tank top she posted a photo of on the night Viall’s season of “The Bachelor” premiered.
