Pokémons are getting ready to conquer the theaters! Fathom Events officially announced the upcoming release of the Pokémon animated film entitled “Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!” Anticipation is high since the animated film shall be running for a limited time only.
The origin of Ash and Pikachu
“Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!” will narrate about the origin story of the lead characters Ash and Pikachu. The film will highlight the first meeting of the iconic duo and follow them as they set on a journey to search for a legendary Pokémon named Ho-Oh.
Ash and Pikachu will meet several familiar characters in their quest. The duo will also encounter new characters that will make their journey more challenging. New characters such as Trainer Sorrel and Verity as well as the interesting Mythical Pokémon, Marshadow shall be introduced in the film. The quest of the most popular trainer and Pokémon friendship will be filled with battles and exciting adventures.
According to the Pokémon Company International, the release of “Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!” is aimed to serve a purpose. Colin Palmer, the Company’s Vice President of Marketing said that the movie is their creative way of introducing Ash, Pikachu and the rest of the wonderful Pokémons to the new generation who were not able to witness the beginnings of one of the greatest friendships.
