New details continue to emerge in different social media about the next events coming to the reality augmented game Pokémon GO. Niantic's developers have announced that the company will delay the "Pokémon Go" activities related to the Safari Zone Event that would be happening in August in Europe for later in the fall. As explained by the company in its official blog, the delay is meant to ensure the best experience of the game for European coaches. The decision comes after the significant bugs in the recent "Pokémon Go Fest." The first event that took place in Chicago to celebrate the game's anniversary was a total disaster, as players and trainers were unable to catch the rarest Pokémon in the match, because of technical flaws.

Next, we will share with you all new details revealed by Niantic’s developers about new changes made to the app, after the flaws in the “Pokémon Go Fest.”

What events and activities will be delayed by Niantic?

Niantic has explained that it will delay the events scheduled for August 5 in Copenhagen and Prague, as well as the event planned for August 12 in Stockholm and Amsterdam. According to information published by Niantic's developers, these activities will be rescheduled for the fall. However, the Yokohama event in Japan will be held on August 14 as scheduled. The company also confirmed for September 16 a new special "Pokémon Go" event, which will be held at the same time as the editions of Germany and France.

To compensate “Pokémon Go” players and trainers because of the delays of the events, the company said that in the next few days it will introduce new rare Pokémon in Europe. The company did not specify to which European cities the new Pokémon Monsters will arrive, although it is expected that these will mainly come to those where the "Pokémon Go Safari Zone" was delayed.

Additional information

Besides, there are rumors that Niantic is planning a new exciting event in the USA. According to information emerging in Japan, the company will celebrate a Legendary Event for “Pokémon Go” players in Chicago and other important states in the United States. Niantic has not referred to them yet, but, after the significant flaws in the “Pokémon Go Fest,” it would be a good idea by the company.

It is worth mentioning that Niantic offered to return tickets for the event and gave all attendees $100 in Pokecoins, the currency of the game, and a Legendary Pokémon, but players are still waiting for it.

This is all the information known so far. Keep enjoying the game, and stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
