Kraus addresses his heated argument with Lindsay during finale
In his interview with "Good Morning America" on Wednesday, the runner-up of "The Bachelorette" season 13 admitted that he made the wrong move when he told rachel lindsay to "go find someone to have a mediocre life with" before the big reveal. Peter Kraus confessed that he was "stupid" for getting carried away at that time.
"It was in the heat of the moment," he explained. "I was very apologetic for it. Understandably so, she took offense to it."
The businessman believed that Rachel Lindsay did not accept his apology after the heated argument, but also insisted that they "left on good terms" after "The Bachelorette" finale. Peter Kraus even recalled his last conversation with the female lawyer wherein he saw how happy she was. "I think she's in a very happy place," he added. "I'm getting to a happy place, and we left on good terms. I think it's okay," he went on.
The 31-year-old runner-up also confessed that there was "a lot of emotion" when he and Rachel Lindsay reunited for the "After the Final Rose" special several months after their journey on "The Bachelorette" ended.
Lindsay explains decision to pick Abasolo over Kraus
Rachel Lindsay, on the other hand, felt like she was manipulated by Peter Kraus and claimed that their relationship had a lot of "push and pull" even in the final moments of the show. The 32-year-old said her then-suitor was giving her "just enough" instead of proving his full commitment to their relationship.
She candidly explained that Peter Kraus' lack of commitment fueled her decision to choose Bryan Abasolo who was totally invested in their relationship. Rachel Lindsay also addressed those who were criticizing her for her final pick. "I'm having an amazing life. These last few months have been absolutely amazing," she told ET Online.
Meanwhile, Bryan Abasolo shared how tough it was for him to watch Rachel Lindsay getting hurt by someone who was unsure of what he wanted to do.
Although he failed to win the heart of Rachel Lindsay on "The Bachelorette" season 13, Peter Kraus is reportedly being considered as the next potential "Bachelor."
