Subway singer does Ed Sheeran

Mike Yung, the 57-year-old subway singer from New York, has now secured a spot in the semi-finals of the talent competition.was singing in the subways of the Big Apple for decades until he became an online sensation in 2016, Heavy reported.

The trending performance was his rendition of “Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers at the station on 23rd and Sixth Avenue. Last Tuesday night, he sang in front of international audiences, offering a rendition of the Ed Sheeran hit, “Thinking Out Loud.”

Because of his viral video and television appearances, Yung has sung less on the subways.

Since then, he has pursued his dreams to become a full-fledged recording artist, Heavy added.

Plane crash survivor covers Katy Perry

The subway singer’s performance was not the only stunning musical performance of the night. Kechi Okwuchi bravely took on the ‘’America’s Got Talent” stage, despite her burns. These burns on her body were from a plane crash that she survived from back in 2005.

According to CNN, the plane crash was from a Nigerian aircraft that traveled between Abuja and Port Harcourt. The aircraft crash-landed at the international airport in Port Harcourt.

Heavy reported that Okwuchi has been using music as her escape mechanism from a traumatic plane crash that killed her classmates. The incident resulted in over 100 surgical operations that were made on her body, but the burns from that day still show.

Despite this, she wowed the audiences and the judges in her heartfelt rendition of “By The Grace Of God,” a Katy Perry hit. She wore a glamorous light pink sleeveless gown during the quarterfinals night. She has already secured a spot in the semi-finals, alongside Yung.
