NCIS” Season 15 showrunner Frank Cardea previously confirmed that two characters are returning in the imminent installment. Actors Robert Wagner and Joe Spano are reprising their roles as Anthony DiNozzo Sr. and Tobias Fornell, respectively, in the fifteenth season.

Now, recent reports are claiming that another “NCIS” personality is returning on the much-anticipated CBS series. Speculations have it that Rocky Carroll is directing this season’s fifth episode.

Director Carroll directing the fifth episode

Carter Matt shared that Roscoe “Rocky” Carroll is set to get back in the director’s chair as he will be directing “NCIS” Season 15 Episode 5.

Series actress Pauley Perrette confirmed via Twitter that the 54-year-old American actor-director is totally coming back to be at the helm in one of the forthcoming episodes.

To recall, Carroll directed the “Off the Grid” episode of Season 14. The Ohio-native is also known for his role as NCIS Director Leon Vance on the CBS series, including its spinoffs “NCIS: New Orleans” and “NCIS: Los Angeles.”

Aside from that, Rocky Carroll also played as Dr. Keith Wilkes on “Chicago Hope,” Dr. Davids on “Law and Order” and Joey Emerson on the FOX comedy-drama series titled “Roc.” He also played supporting roles in various movies like “Born on the Fourth of July,” “Prelude to a Kiss,” “The Chase” and “Crimson Tide.”

The publication revealed that “NCIS” Season 15 kicked-off the shooting stage weeks ago.

Additionally, Carter Matt debunked the claims of news outlets Christian Post and The Inquisitr saying that special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) is going to sacrifice his life for Tim McGee (Sean Murray).

“This is just a part of a narrative to suggest that Gibbs may somehow be leaving the show, a rumor that’s been out there for most of the year in many various terrible forms,” the publication claimed.

It added that these hearsays are capitalizing on the fear of viewers of losing one of their favorite characters.

Mark Harmon is not leaving the show

Meanwhile, Blasting News previously reported that Mark Harmon is not departing from the show amid rumors about his failing health. Speculations suggest that the 65-year-old actor is going to take a break from the limelight to recuperate from his weakening health condition.

However, the publication learned that Harmon’s character, Leroy Jethro Gibbs, is going to have a new love interest in the forthcoming “NCIS” Season 15. Reports have it that a woman named Reagan (Maria Bello) will make the former U.S. Marine Corps Scout Sniper fall in love again.

NCIS” Season 15 is scheduled to premiere on September 26, 2017, on CBS channel. Stay tuned for more spoilers, news, and updates!
