It has also been confirmed that there is a new addition to the "Mamma Mia" ensemble.

Pierce Brosnan has shared a number of photographs of the cast

According to 98 FM, the sequel movie for 2008's "Mamma Mia" is currently in productions as actor Pierce Brosnan has been sharing pictures of himself practicing for the role.

The actor has confirmed that the sequel is currently in the works as he posted a photograph of himself in front of a recording microphone. He also added the lyrics of an Abba song to the photograph and fans are delighted to see that the sequel is finally happening.

The movie is due to be released in Croatia next year during July of 2018. The title has been confirmed as "Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again" in reference to the song lyrics that the movie was initially called after. Universal Studios worked on the first "Mamma Mia" movie and has confirmed their involvement in the second.

They have released a statement claiming that all of the original cast members of "Mamma Mia" will be returning for the movie's sequel.

This will include Pierce Brosnan, Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper. The first movie was released back in 2008 nearly a decade ago and fans are beyond excited to see their favorite characters coming back to the big screen.

A new member has joined the cast for the sequel movie

According to Variety, Universal Studios has confirmed that a new addition has joined the cast of "Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again." Broadway star Jessica Keenan Wynn has been added to the cast's ensemble and will be playing a younger version of one of the existing characters Tanya.

It has been confirmed that the movie will be moving through time as it explores how certain relationships were explored. It has not been confirmed as to who else will be joining the cast to play the younger versions of the other characters. The original creators of "Mamma Mia" Judy Craymer and Gary Goetzman have teamed up to bring "Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again" to life.

The same musical artist will provide the music so the continuity of the music affected from original to the sequel will not be affected. Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus are providing both the music and lyrics as well as starring as executive producers on the movie.

The filming for "Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again" is set to being this coming September and fans are beyond excited that a sequel is finally in the works.
