The “Purpose” world tour ends here and it sure left a lot of Justin Bieber’s fans asking why it was suddenly canceled.
Justin Bieber “Purpose” world tour cancellation decision was shockingly announced on his Facebook Page on the 25th of July. The statement of the “Let Me Love You” singer was pretty much vague on why some of his concert goers and loyal fans are going to be refunding their tickets sooner or later.
Louis Tomlinson slams Justin Bieber after he cancels his tour
Right after the notification, various comments emerged, below the Facebook post, with mixed emotions from fans.
Some others were heavily disappointed, even angered, because of various reasons such as money, time, dedication and personal feelings for the singer’s behaviors. Even the former One Direction member, Louis Tomlinson shared his thoughts about the "I'm The One" singer's sudden decision to cancel his tour.
“There is never enough that I can say or do for the fans," Tomlinson says. "At the end of the day, it is the people who are buying the records that are putting you where you are.”
A day after his cancellation, multiple reps and fans have started rooting for Bieber as they believe that the 23-year-old singer just needs to take a break from his long running and exhausting world tour. This seems true since the tour has been going on for 2 years now, ever since he came back with a successful album.
Bieber’s manager speaks up
The pop star's manager, Scooter Braun, also took his side by posting his thoughts on Instagram. Braun was also receiving an amount of backlash from Bieber’s fans and replied by thanking the whole team first, who were with them while the tour was going on.
“To Justin who gave it his all night after night thank you,” the statement reads, “and to those that would not be able to see it...
on behalf of myself, Justin, and the team, we are sorry.”
The statement also made it clear that it was never their intent to cancel and disappoint the tour at all. However, Bieber’s health is their number one priority, which is why they chose to cancel it. Unfortunately, it did not really calm everyone down but some others have no choice but to move on from it.
Braun also gave a good news to fans by assuring that the singer will be, in fact, performing in the future – just not this next three months.
This is not the first time that the Canadian singer made some unforeseen detours with his career though. His name has been the major obsession of some tabloids because of his personal life and “bad behaviors” resulting him to be banned in countries like China.
Obviously, multiple theories have also emerged on why Justin Bieber’s “Purpose” world tour was canceled three months before its completion. But some fans believe that Bieber seems like he needs to be out of the stage for a while to take some rest. He was reportedly spotted in Santa Monica trying to get on with his personal life a few days after the cancellation announcement.
