Chester Bennington, the Linkin Park lead singer, was finally Laid To Rest following his death last week. It was reported by Fox 11 that his private funeral on Saturday was attended by his closest family and friends. The ceremony took place at the South Coast Botanic Garden and everyone who was close to him was given the honor to remember the life and work of the famous musician.

According to Fox 11 news, hundreds of people were noted to be in attendance and included the musicians who the lead singer has worked with for the past years of his career.

They also reported that a stage was been set up and a complete drum kit was placed at the funeral's venue to give everyone a chance to pay a musical tribute for Bennington.

Entry to the ceremony

Bennington's funeral was held in private to give his family and friends the privacy to mourn his death. During the ceremony, everyone was given a yellow wristband and VIP passes to gain entry to his funeral ceremony. It was also reported that before he was laid to rest, the funeral seemed very much like a music festival as mourners remembered his musical craft.

Just recently, the late singer's wife released her official statement for the first time. She shared an emotional message and she further revealed that they used to be a happy family before Bennington faced his untimely death.

Meanwhile, some of his bandmates like Austin Carlie posted some photos on Instagram which featured the VIP passes for his funeral. On the caption, he wrote, "Thank you Linkin Park, thank you Chester for everything."

Shared moments

As Bennington has been laid to his final rest, the musicians he worked with couldn't help but reminisce about the moments they had shared together.

Blackbear, the well-known rapper, also took to Instagram and shared a photo about the late singer's funeral. He posted a photo of the yellow wristband and the entry pass and he left a caption, "The service today was beautiful."

As he continued his message, Blackbear also added that Bennington's music will continue to live on in every song that he will perform on stage.

Additionally, the famous band Julien-K and Dead by Sunrise also posted a photo of them as they held a poster and a t-shirt in honor of the late 41-year old singer. Without a doubt, a lot of people have been saddened by Bennington's passing. Friends, family, and fans continue to pray that Chester has finally found peace wherever he might have gone to.
