Khloe Kardashian's love life, as personal as it is, has been out there for the whole world to see. She has been linked to names like basketball superstar James Harden and rapper French Montana. And we don't even need to go into the whole Lamar situation. But, for the past year Khloe has seemed incredibly content and happy right where she is now.
After being set up on a blind date last year with Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player Tristan Thompson, 26, Khloe,33, had finally met a man so similar to herself. In an interview with People, Khloe discussed qualities necessary to maintain a healthy relationship and one of the things they have in common.
Healthy relationships are more than love
Khloe describes her relationship with the basketball star as being as close to perfect as possible. She attributes this to their wonderful communication system that they have established. There are no fears or worries because their communication is open and organic.
She also appreciates their shared respect for religion and spirituality. For Khloe and Tristan, God and spirituality are in open discussion between the Hollywood couple. " A lot of my girlfriends get pregnant without talking about things such as religion with their significant others and then find they have different belief systems to them.” she tells Us Weekly.
Khloe also discussed the lack of pressure she feels in this relationship.
“ I’m in the best relationship I’ve ever been in and it doesn’t take a ring for me to feel that way,” the reality star tells Us Weekly. She discusses how she will get married again one day and have children but it will all happen when the time is right.
"KHLO-C-D"
It's well established that Khloe has a borderline OCD like obsession, affectionately known as "KHLO-C-D", with being neat, tidy, and organized.
The star believes that this helps to alleviate unnecessary stress from her hectic life. One of the things she loves about he man, he is organized too. "I love myself an organized man." Khloe posted on her app. Being an organized person himself, he appreciates this quality in her that maybe someone else wouldn't find so cute.
While taking time to understand one another through time and open communication, they have truly built the type of foundation that wonderful, long lasting relationships are made of. It is nice to see one of the Kardashians smile and say they are happy and enjoying their life.
