"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star and Good American brand founder Khloe Kardashian has one of the most impressive weight losses in the past few years. The 32-year old who graced the covers of Women's Health and Complex to show off her new figure touted "revenge body," ultimately cited her divorce from ex-husband Lamar Odom for her inspiration to get fitter and healthier.
Recently, her nutritionist Dr. Philip Goglia spoke to PEOPLE to shed some light on how the reality star and entrepreneur's diet contributes to her "revenge body."
Nutritionist stretches meals to seven installments every day
According to Goglia, the Khloe Kardashian diet involves as much as seven balanced meals per day.
The meal plan was developed after they determined how Kardashian's body "breaks down proteins, fats, and carbs." This way, they were able to create a meal plan that works best for her "revenge body." Kardashian does a cheat meal, not a cheat day
According to the reality star's nutritionist, the Khloe Kardashian diet allows for one cheat meal, but not a cheat day. In fact, the reality TV star often goes for "a slice of cake as a dessert or a pizza or pasta dinner," or whatever she is craving for at the moment.
Kardashian also maintains a strict gym routine, making it a point to focus on putting in the hard work to achieve and maintain her "revenge body."
Gunnar Peterson praises Khloe Kardashian's focus
In talking to Women's Health, celebrity fitness trainer Gunnar Peterson shared just how Khloe Kardashian's diet is complemented by exercise.
He admitted, "We keep her mind challenged and her body guessing, and the focus is on building strength. There's just enough interval work (sled pushes, battle ropes, rower sprints, med ball slams) to keep her heart rate as high as her royalty checks."
