The seventh season of “Game of Thrones” recently concluded and fans are left in awe with the unexpected twist and turn of events it revealed. However, it will still take a lot of time before viewers will finally see Game of ThronesSeason 8. Thus they are all wondering for their favorite characters’ future.

Things are getting pretty intense as the Great War is about to come. Also, viewers would like to know what will happen to Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen’s (Emilia Clarke) relationship now that it has been revealed that he is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne.

The problem building between Jon and Dany

As the recently-concluded season revealed that Jon Snow is the legitimate child of Rhaegar Targaryen (Wilf Scolding) and Lyanna Stark (Aisling Franciosi), it just imposed a big problem is going to happen between him and Daenerys Targaryen.

In a behind-the-scene interview with the television show’s executive producer D.B. Weiss (via Vanity Fair), he revealed that the revelation about Jon and Daenerys' relation would inevitably create major problems, if not drive them apart.

To recall, Emilia Clarke told Entertainment Weekly that her character has no intention to share the throne, even though it is for her nephew. “I’ve worked so hard, I don’t want to share that throne.

No,” she said.

The 30-year-old star explained that the throne is just big enough for her to sit and no other man can claim it. So, this might mean that the King in the North will reveal the competitiveness in him that the real Aegon Targaryen has in the book version.

Kit Harington also has his thoughts in the potential future of his character and his so-called aunt.

The 30-year-old actor teased that the two major key players might be walking off into the sunset together or they could end up killing each other.

The show’s production

“Game of Thrones” Season 8 is not expected to return until 2019. In fact, the Hollywood Reporter revealed, although not yet confirmed, that HBO is eyeing to extend the television show’s break for up to 16 months or longer.

The fantasy drama series is expected to start its filming this coming October that might last long until August 2018 or later.

According to Vox, the long production timeline is because of the need to work out both the shooting and the special effects' schedules. The filming location is also getting very complicated as winter already comes in Westeros. This was also the reasons why the seventh installment was delayed for a couple of months from its usual April release.
