The latest episode of Game of Thrones” season 7 has finally aired and despite the unfortunate early leak of the episode, fans are still raving about how it was the best episode of the series yet. After a long aching wait, Daenerys Targaryen finally retaliates and another Stark has come home at last.

The Stormborn’s wrath

The new season of “Game of Thrones” started off with Daenerys heading back to her family’s ancestral home, Dragonstone while the Starks are preparing to fend off the White Walkers shortly after they reclaimed Winterfell from the villainous Ramsay Bolton.

However, Jon Snow and Ser Davos found themselves in Dragonstone as soon as they found out from Samwell Tarly that Daenerys has been sitting on a huge chunk of dragon glass all this time. The Northerners needed dragon glass for their weapons because it is the only thing they can effectively use against the White Walkers.

In the past few episodes, Daenerys lost her allies as quickly as she gained them and “Game of Thrones” Season 7 episode 4 finally saw her retaliating with the help of Jon Snow’s advice. The mother of dragons, along with her army of fearless Dothrakis, charged at Jaime Lannister’s caravan, which just wrapped up their loots after their siege at the Highgarden.

Jaime and Randyll Tarly lost their troops in an instant but Bronn was able to wound Drogon with the secret weapon that Cersei has found lying beneath King’s Landing.

Whatever spoils of war the Lannisters gained were immediately burned to ashes.

Arya is back at home

Another emotional Stark reunion took place in the new episode of “Game of Thrones” season 7 and Arya’s return given quite a comical presentation. Only a few people alive knew what Arya looked like and when she introduced herself at the entrance of Winterfell, she was met with mockery from the castle guards.

However, Arya was able to slip away with her dark arts skills and she and her older sister, Sansa reunited at the tomb of their departed father. The two last saw each other in the first season of "Game of Thrones" and they were separated after Ned’s untimely death.

Arya also met up with her younger brother, Bran, who has changed a lot just like her.

The three Starks undeniably went through their own version of hell, which helped them grow into who they are now before they could return to Winterfell in one piece. Shortly after their reunion, Sansa learns of Arya’s sword skills as well as her list, which was names of people she vowed to kill.
