Game of Thrones” season 7 finale delivered explosives but also ended with cliffhangers of which unanswered questions will have to wait until season 8 premieres in a year or two. We knew of the incestuous acts of twins Ser Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), but fans did not expect to see another pairing like that. Both Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) are related by blood. In their bed scene during the season finale, the two “GOT” stars talked about it and it’s hilarious for them.

Dany and Jon’s sex scene

During the season 7 finale of “Game of Thrones,” Samwell Tarley (John Bradley-West) and Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) confirmed the suspicions among fans that have been following HBO’s fantasy epic series. Jon Snow turned out to be the rightful heir to the Iron Throne as he is the only son of Rhaegar Targaryen (Dany’s brother) and Lyanna Stark (Ned’s sister). Apparently, he is Daenerys’ nephew and one can imagine how gross it would be to have sex with someone related to you by blood. This is what both Emilia Clarke and Kit Harrington felt about their characters’ sex scene during the season finale.

Harrington said that Jon and Dany’s sex scene during the “Game of Thrones” season finale is kind of creepy, but it’s also hilarious for him and Clarke to act out those bed scenes.

He discussed their bed scene during the post-episode segment titled “A Union of Fire and Ice.” “I think they both know it’s wrong, I think they both know it’s gonna cause problems,” Kit said. “But it’s that thing—when you suddenly feel that deeply about someone, and you go through those events together; it’s like a runaway train.” So, there you have it.

It seems that we have yet another incestuous act down the road.

Winter has come

We have seen the efforts of Daenerys, Jon and Tyrion, among others during the “Game of Thrones” season finale when they brought Cersei a white walker. It was an attempt to convince her to fight with them to defeat the Night King and its Army of the Dead, who are already marching towards them.

A theory that shakes the entire fandom where Bran Stark turns out to be the Night King will also be confirmed next season. It’s another interesting theory that made fans anxious for season 8.

HBO’s “Game of Thrones” already separated from the story of George R.R Martin’s book. Thus, for the readers, it’s probably not the time for them to conclude the series’ entire storyline. Either way, we hope to see Jon Snow or Aegon Targaryen sit on the Iron Throne later.
