A recent post on Twitter by a Little Mix fan suggests that Perrie Edwards threw some serious shade at ex Zayn Malik and his partner Gigi Hadid. The fan, who was attending the group's concert, posted the video on July 30 with the caption "Hope she ain't faking it like Hadid". The fan claims that Edwards changed the lyrics during a performance of the band's song "Shout Out to My Ex" from "Hope she ain't faking it like I did" to "Hope she ain't faking it like Hadid". Edwards' bandmate Jade Thirlwall can be seen bursting into a fit of laughter causing her to miss some of the song's lines while singing.
The video has been retweeted 185 times and has received 380 "likes". Fans posting comments under the video have mixed reactions to the claim. Some are saying Edwards did change the lyrics and that she needs to get over Malik, and others are defending the star, saying her voice cracked and she didn't change the words.

There had been rumors shortly before his exit from One Direction that he had cheated on Edwards causing him to take a break from the band's tour before officially leaving. According to E!
News, Malik was blamed for the couple's split by fans and he was targeted heavily on social media because of this at the time. Malik's bandmate, Liam Payne, said he supported his decision to leave and said it was simply time for the star to move on.

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid were rumored to be dating in 2015, shortly after Edwards and Malik split.
Hadid had also recently broken-up with her ex Joe Jonas. E! News reported on 24 November 2015 that Malik was seen picking Hadid up from the after-party of the American Music Awards. According to Cosmopolitan, the couple was spotted holding hands while leaving The Nice Guy on 29 November 2015. Hadid famously appeared as Mailk's love interest in his music video for "Pillowtalk" in early 2016. The couple was the subject of breakup rumors in 2016 but quickly proved them wrong by posting plenty of couples pictures on social media. Vogue recently released a new photo shoot featuring Hadid and Malik breaking down gendered fashion stereotypes.
