Demi Lovato recently celebrated her 25th birthday, and she was showered with birthday greetings and tributes from friends, family, and fans on social media. Some of the celebrities that took their time to greet Demi included Kelly Clarkson, Ellen DeGeneres, and long-time friend, Nick Jonas.

Some fans who were shipping Lovato and Jonas were thrilled to see the sweet and endearing message that the latter posted on social media. Meanwhile, the "Confident" singer herself posted a photo of hers on her Instagram account, beaming so bright on camera with knitting tools.

The fans took the picture as a sign that the 25-year old singer was spending her birthday in private, together with Friends And Family.

However, many were surprised to discover that Demi Lovato spent her 25th birthday with her ex-boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama. The two have been through a lot together and were even considered to have their baby - a cute puppy who unfortunately died due to a tragic accident.

Is it love for the second time around?

With the photo of Wilmer and Demi circulating on social media, fans can't help but wonder if the ex-couple are trying to give their failed relationship another chance. According to Entertainment Tonight, Valderrama stayed in New York on Sunday to celebrate Demi's birthday.

Demi and Wilmer dated for six years, and although they had a 12-year age-gap, they were considered to be one of the most adorable celebrity couples when they were still together.

Entertainment Tonight reveals that Demi and Wilmer were spotted having dinner at Dave & Buster's together with the former's family. It wasn't a formal dinner, and they were seen laughing and having a fun night out. Apparently, Demi Lovato had no plans in hiding the fact that she spent her 25th birthday with Wilmer Valderrama as she shared a photo on social media which was a group photo showing her wearing a crown surrounded by the people that she loved.

Birthday high

It seemed like Demi had a fantastic night out with friends and family as she posted on her Twitter around 3 am on Monday. She shared that she still can't sleep and blames it on her "birthday high." She also took the chance to thanks everyone for giving her an incredible 25th birthday.

As of writing, reps for Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have yet to comment on their possible second chance at love. However, the fans are hoping that the ex-couple try to work things out again because currently, they are both single and it would be a wonderful surprise if they got back together on Demi's 25th birthday.
