"Days Of Our Lives" spoilers reveal that fans have a lot to look forward to when it comes to the goings on in Salem. "DOOL" viewers will be seeing a lot of old familiar faces around Salem in the upcoming months, as many former characters are returning just in time to make things interesting on the NBC soap opera.
Sami Brady returns to Salem this fall
According to the latest "Days of our Lives" news, fans can expect to see plenty of old faces in Salem. However, viewers may be the most excited for Sami Brady. Actress Alison Sweeney will be reprising her role as Salem's bad girl when she returns to the soap this fall.
Sami will be the center of a lot of drama, which includes other character returns as well.
Will Horton makes a dramatic return
"Days of our Lives" fans will also see Sami's son, Will Horton, played by Chandler Massey, return to the show. As many "DOOL" watchers will remember, Will was shockingly killed off by the necktie killer, Ben Weston. Fans were stunned that the soap would kill off such an important character, and Alison Sweeney even spoke out about the shocking exit. However, it looks like Will's not dead after all. He'll be returning to Salem around the same time as his mother, Sami, and the two will have fans tuning in each and every day to see what happens next.
Stefano and EJ still alive?
"Days of our Lives" rumors reveal that Sami will want to get to the bottom of what really happened to Will, and could be looking for revenge. Her journey will reportedly take her to Memphis where she'll find out things about Will's whereabouts while he was gone, and possibly even make some major discoveries.
During this storyline, "DOOL" fans may learn that some members of the DiMera family are not dead and gone as originally thought. Rumors are flying that Stefano DiMera (or at least his hands) may be making a return to the show, and that Sami's beloved husband, EJ DiMera could be returning in a shocking recast. However, those returns have not been confirmed.
Eileen Davidson playing duel roles again?
Meanwhile, one member of the DiMera family will be back. Actress Eileen Davidson is set to return to "Days of our Lives," and rumor has it she'll be playing dual roles. As many "DOOL" viewers know, Davidson has portrayed the roles of Kristen DiMera and Susan Banks. It seems that if EJ is alive, fans could be seeing both characters as Kristen is EJ's sister, and the person who injected his body with that mystery substance after he died, and Susan is his wacky mom.
Could Jen Lilley be reprising the role of Theresa Donovan?
Another possible return for "Days of our Lives" fans to speculate about is that of Theresa Donovan. Although it has not been confirmed, some viewers believe Theresa's return to Salem is drawing near.
Not only did actress Jen Lilley recently speak out about returning to the soap, but Theresa's sister, Eve Donovan is set to make her way back to Salem in the near future.
Jack is back
Although the returns of Theresa, Stefano, and EJ have not been confirmed, "Days of our Lives" viewers can bank on seeing Jack Deveraux back in action as well. Jack will come in spirit form to visit his son JJ after he commits a shocking mistake that will leave him guilt ridden and in a very bad place. "DOOL" fans can expect to see all of these returns in the very near future, starting this fall.
