Although the "Dancing with the Stars" 2017 lineup won't be revealed in its entirety until the Sept. 6 edition of "Good Morning America," producers of the long-running hit reality dance competition pulled a surprise out of their hats on Aug. 29. Per a morning show promo clip that aired on ABC and was later tweeted by user @idolxfactor1, the first celebrity cast member's identity will actually be unveiled much sooner: on Aug. 30 during "GMA".

Though the clip features a shadowy female figure tossing her hair, there's no indication that the first confirmed member of the "Dancing With The Stars" 2017 celebrity cast will be a woman.
If it is, however, it could well be one of a handful of rumored participants. Names floated to date by a variety of sources including People, ET, Just Jared Jr., and fan site PureDWTS include "Total Divas" star Nikki Bella, TV personality Vanessa Lachey, and soap star Andrea Evans.
Rumored 'DWTS' cast members
The list of rumored male "DWTS" season 25 contestants features 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey --who happens to be Vanessa Lachey's husband-- as well as "Property Brothers" star Drew Scott, "Hamilton" alum Jordan Fisher, and an unnamed NBA player. An Aug. 29 report by Just Jared Jr. tossed another name into the mix: Disney star Cameron Boyce. Fans speculated that Boyce --a talented dancer-- might be former Mirrorball champ Witney Carson's celebrity partner after a teaser photo suggested that her new celeb can jump higher than the average bear.
